The Company Eta are a thriving gap year company who specialise in teaching placements for graduates. The Project Tefl Heaven Teaching Internships Starting off with free flights to get you to Hat Yai Thailand we will then take you as a group of interns to the paradise island of Koh Lipe in the Andaman Sea. Here on the island you will start your Tefl training for 2 weeks before travelling back to the mainland for your 2 weeks Tefl teaching practice in real schools in Hat Yai. From here you will have a weekends rest before you begin your teaching internship as a Tefl teacher in one of four provinces in Thailand. Working hours are approx. 35 hrs per week with teaching hours being approx. 25 hrs per week. Benefits Accommodation is provided for the duration of the internship and there is a living allowance of 12500 Thb per month so you have plenty of money to enjoy yourself. One good hot meal in Thailand costs 35 Thb so in theory you can afford over 300 of them Free flights are provided as is assistance in gaining a working visa. The start date for the 4 week Tefl course is March 2011 making the whole internship approx. 6 months. The cost of the Tefl course has been reduced from £900 Gbp to £795 Gbp for a limited time. The Tefl Certificate will be issued through London Teacher Training College. We have places available for the Tefl Teaching Internships starting March 2011. The internship is geared towards recent graduates who want experience in the Tefl industry but any graduate may apply who has enthusiasm and can cope in a very different culture.
